A solid thriller that might just surprise you, though its Stateside success has been limited.

Frank, of Get Shorty fame, comes with a strong reputation for the genre and here he brings us a tale about a high school student (Levitt) who has been brain-damaged after an accident in which he killed several friends. Gang leader Goode nevertheless reckons he could be useful on a planned robbery as the getaway driver … which hardly seems the wisest of decisions.

There’s a strong cast making a better film than they’re getting credit for.
