Kidd flees to Australia to escape 'drugs shame'

Supermodel Jodie Kidd will fly to Australia to escape controversy surrounding her alleged drugs use.

The catwalk star is facing a police investigation into claims she supplied drugs to an undercover journalist last month.

As a result of the allegations, Kidd, 28, has been dropped as the face of UK high street giant Marks & Spencer.

But Kidd hopes time out of the spotlight is a positive move.

She says: "I'm going to Australia next week to get away from it all. I just want to put it all behind me."
