CSI studio hit by fire

Producers for hit drama 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' have been forced to postpone a series of shoots because of the wildfires eating up huge areas of California.

The cast and crew of the show were told filming in Santa Clarita had been postponed indefinitely, following an area evacuation on Monday.

Production on another TV drama hit, 24, in Irvine, California was cancelled on Monday and Tuesday "due to nearby fires".

Several wildfires, which started over the weekend, have prompted Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to declare a state of emergency in seven Southern California counties.
