Lifestyle to blame for Statham break-up, says Brook

British model-turned-actress Kelly Brook blames the break-up of her relationship with Jason Statham on their hectic celebrity lifestyle.

The 27-year-old dated the 'Snatch' star for seven years before the couple split in 2004. Brook, who is now engaged to American actor Billy Zane, insists she and Statham may never have parted ways if they were not so focused on their careers.

"Jason's career was also blossoming and it was difficult for us to see as much of each other as we would have liked," she said.

"Like so many other couples it soon became clear that our relationship was faltering at the hands of the Hollywood lifestyle.

"So after seven years together we decided to call it a day."
