Minogue considers adoption

Australian pop star Dannii Minogue is so desperate to be a mother she is considering adoption.

The 35-year-old has been inspired by women like Madonna and Angelina Jolie who have both adopted children from outside of their native countries.

She says: "I want a child more than anything right now. I have to be pragmatic about the whole situation. I would love to be a mum myself but I've got a lot of love to give and will also look into adoption."

Minogue is currently single after divorcing actor Julian McMahon in 1995 after two years of marriage.
