Lohan blew US$7m on 'wild' lifestyle
Actress Lindsay Lohan has been forced to return to Hollywood post-rehab to boost her poor finances - after blowing US$7m (€5m) in the last year on hard-partying.
The Mean Girls star, 21, is alleged to have struggled to control her spending habit during 2006-2007, splashing US$1m (€700,000) alone on clothes and a further US$500,000 (€351,000) each on a luxury hotel suite in Hollywood's exclusive Chateau Marmont, wild nights out and a personal chauffeur.
And Lohan - who is currently continuing with outpatient treatment after checking out of the Cirque Lodge in Utah last Friday - has spent US$137,000 (€96,500) on rehab facilities in an effort to kick her drug and alcohol problems and another US$350,000 (€246,000) on legal fees stemming from her two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests earlier this year.
A source tells British newspaper the News Of The World: "Lindsay doesn't have much choice as she is totally broke. The only reason she's coming back to LA (Los Angeles) is to earn some hard money, fast.
"She still thinks nothing of blowing thousands of dollars on a single night of partying."
