Goodbye Bafana (Paramount, €24.99) apparently based on fact, portrays the story of jailed Nelson Mandela based on the memoirs of his prison guard James Gregory.

It’s a wooden rather shallow story directed by Billie August, although Joseph Fiennes at least gives a decent portrayal as Gregory.
