Lohan denies sacking manager mother
Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has hit out at reports she has been fired as the actress' manager, dismissing the allegations as false.
The reports began to circulate on Wednesday after an insider told the US edition of OK! Magazine the Mean Girls star, 21, blamed Dina for making bad career moves and had ditched her mum in her efforts to "remove the negative influences from her life".
But Lohan Snr. Denies the claims and has released a statement addressing the situation via her daughter's publicist, according to TheCelebrityTruth.com.
In the statement, she said: "Dina remains Lindsay's manager and, more importantly, her mother."
The actress recently blamed her parents' separation for her wild behaviour, which led to her two arrests for driving under the influence and subsequent stints in rehab.
She is currently continuing with outpatient treatment having checked out of Cirque Lodge rehabilitation centre in Utah earlier this month.
