Jacko hints at new album

Michael Jackson has written an open letter to fans, hinting that he is about to release his first new album in six years.

The singer, who has been off the showbiz radar for months, posted the letter on his fansite Mjeurope.eu.

It reads: "Your continued love and support means so much to me. I really love and appreciate you all... from the bottom of my heart.

"I've been really busy lately. Hopefully, you've all seen the results of my recent photo shoot with L'Uomo Vogue.

"Soon, I will be sharing exciting and surprising news with you from my other efforts."

Jackson has been reported to be working on tracks with The Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and Akon.
