Hasselhoff in hospital after suffering relapse
Recovering alcoholic David Hasselhoff has been hospitalised after suffering a relapse in his battle with alcoholism.
The Baywatch star checked himself into an unnamed clinic.
He is expected to be released today.
Hasselhoff's representative Judy Katz tells website TMZ.com: "David had a brief relapse and immediately recognised the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors. He is doing fine and will be back home in the morning."
Hasselhoff won full and physical custody of his two teenage daughters following a bitter court battle with his ex-wife Pamela Bach in June.
It is currently unclear what affect, if any, his hospitalisation will have on this custody arrangement.
He decided to address his alcohol abuse issues earlier this year after his teenage daughter caught him on camera slurring his words while eating pizza during a drunken episode in a Las Vegas hotel.
