Rock regrets not hitting Lee more to promote new album

Kid Rock has one regret about his fight with Tommy Lee at the MTV Video Music Awards last month - he wishes he'd punched the Motley Crue star a few more times.

The rap/rocker was cited for misdemeanour battery after hitting his former love rival Lee - both men are ex-husbands of actress Pamela Anderson - at the Las Vegas event.

But with the benefit of hindsight, Rock now regrets not hitting Lee a few more times to promote his new album Rock N Roll Jesus, released this week.

He says: "If I had known the attention it would get, and right before my album is due, I would have thrown a few more punches."
