O'Donnell admits she was sacked from US talk show

Rosie O'Donnell was sacked from US talk show 'The View' - because she refused to follow the producers' orders.

The outspoken star made the admission during a recent stage appearance on Roseanne Barr's Comix show in New York - contradicting The View's official line stating she left the show by mutual consent.

But last Wednesday, O'Donnell attacked the show's creator and her former co-host, saying: "When I was fired by Barbara Walters…"

O'Donnell also claimed she had been fired because she objected to being the mouthpiece for the programme's producers, unlike her ex-colleagues Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd, according to the New York Daily News.
