Kylie: I dream of having children

Pop star Kylie Minogue still dreams of having children, but does not know if she will ever get married, she revealed today.

The 39-year-old singer said she imagined preparing for a wedding and would “love” to be a mother.

In a magazine interview she also described how her battle with cancer changed her body.

“I want to keep working on finding perfect harmony within my life and my work,” she told Glamour magazine.

“And a family, yeah, that’s still something I would love to happen.

“There have been times when we were getting ready for a big event, like the opening of my exhibition at the V&A, and there’s a last minute hoo-has and we’re all running around like headless chickens and I’ve said, ’Imagine if we were getting ready for my wedding’.

“We’ll see. I honestly don’t have a feeling one way or the other if I will walk down the aisle.”

Kylie, who was in the middle of a world tour when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, returned triumphantly to the stage in November last year after chemotherapy.

She said her body was “not what it used to be” but is pictured beaming in a flamboyant pink dress.

She told the magazine: “As far as body image goes, I’ve shrunk to nothing, I’ve ballooned...my body is not what it used to be but it’s the body I’m in.”

Kylie split with French actor Olivier Martinez, 41, after a four-year relationship and is rumoured to be dating a music producer.
