Spice Girls to release new song
The Spice Girls are to release their first single in seven years.
The original five members of the group; Victoria 'Posh Spice' Beckham; Melanie 'Scary Spice' Brown; Geri 'Ginger Spice' Halliwell; Emma 'Baby Spice' Bunton and Melanie 'Sporty Spice' Chisholm recently reunited for a World Tour to take place at the end of 2007.
But they have given a further boost to fans with the news they will release a "big love song" called 'Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)' on November 19.
Halliwell announced the single release to British chat show GMTV on Friday.
She says: "It's fantastic hanging with girls you really like but there are pressures of work to go with it so it's about finding that balance. It's so amazing. It is like waking up and you get a second chance to do something that is so enjoyable."
The band formed in 1995 and sold 55 million albums during their six year stint in the charts. Geri Halliwell left the band in 1998 and the Spice Girls eventually split in 2001.
