‘New Street Law, Series 2’ highly entertaining

Although the Americans seem to produce the best TV legal drama, ‘New Street Law, Series 2’ (Acorn; €24.99) is a highly entertaining British alternative.

John Hannah plays Chris Roper who has turned down an invitation from former mentor Laurence Scammer (Paul Freeman).

It’s a battle of wits which plays out very well, thanks in no small part to the writing talents of GF Newman and Matthew Hall.
