A gentle, well-made Irish drama about friendship and coming of age that has a lot of heart and emotional maturity.

Set in a small rural town where Shortt - with a fine performance – enters into a friendship with a young teenage boy. If the storyline is simple the development of the plot certainly isn’t … a charming telling of a tale with the minimum of fuss.
