I'll never apologise for club assault, says Cheryl Cole

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole has vowed never to apologise to the British nightclub worker she savagely assaulted in 2003.

The 23-year-old was convicted of actual bodily harm after hitting toilet attendant Sophie Amogbokpa on a drink-fuelled night out in a Surrey venue, and was ordered to complete 120 hours of community service and given a £3,500 (€5,000) fine.

But the 'Sounds of the Underground' singer is adamant her victim will never receive an apology.

"I wish it hadn't of happened, it lives with me," she said. "But I won't apologise."
