George Clooney's former lover Lisa Snowdon has defended her ex over claims he caused a recent motorcycle crash - insisting he is a safe driver.

The 'Ocean's Eleven' star suffered a rib fracture and grazes in the accident and new girlfriend Sarah Larson, who was his passenger, broke two toes.
