Bunton embarassed by pasta gaffe

Emma Bunton has been left red-faced after boycotting carbohydrates while endorsing sauces for a pasta company.

The Spice Girls singer has singed an endorsement deal with Prego, and will feature in a series of 15 second commercials to be aired in the US.

But the 31-year-old is boycotting pasta and other carbohydrates in a bid to shed her baby weight ahead of the Spice Girls reunion concert in December.

However a spokesperson for Prego refused to be disheartened, insisting: "There are many alternative methods for Emma to Prego Pasta Sauces without the pasta. She can have pasta sauce over meatballs or sandwiches."
