Sex Pistols re-record Anarchy for video game

Punk icons the Sex Pistols have re-recorded their 'Anarchy in the UK' anthem for upcoming video game 'Guitar Hero III: Legends of rock.

The recording marks the first time frontman John Lydon, guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook had been in the studio together since the late 1970s.

Jones, now a Los Angeles-based DJ, says: "I like Guitar Hero because my friends' kids like it. And I like what kids like."

The makers of Guitar Hero III are sponsoring the first of three reunion shows the group is planning at the Brixton Academy in London in November.
