Hoff's ex held in connection with car crash

David Hasselhoff's ex-wife, Pamela Bach has given herself up to police after being charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident in Hollywood.

Bach, 44, was booked and released about three hours later, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

The actress, who starred with Hasselhoff in 'Knight Rider' and 'Baywatch', is accused of backing her car into another vehicle last January.

Bach's lawyer, Peter Knecht, said she inspected both cars and left when she did not see any damage. An onlooker took down her number plate.

Bach and Hasselhoff, who were married in 1989 and divorced last year, have been locked in a custody battle involving their two teenage daughters.
