What’s gone wrong for Tarantino?

This disappointing film – plotless and poorly directed – adds another bummer to the former whiz kid’s CV.

Russell plays a hard-driving stuntman whose pick-up method is to crash into lovely ladies until a bunch of them decide to fight back. But there’s nothing about the film to grab our attention, no decent dialogue, no depth of character, nothing innovative or inventive. More than somewhat pointless, in fact.

Russell does his best but he has nothing to work on.
