Ferrell auctions movie cameo for charity
Hollywood funnyman Will Ferrell is auctioning a cameo spot in his new film to raise money for his college friend's cancer charity.
The Wedding Crashers actor is auctioning a role in new movie Step Brothers to help his University of Southern California fraternity brother Craig Pollard fundraise for his Cancer for College foundation.
Ferrell says: "What a perfect Christmas present for your son or daughter.
"It is the surefire way to win the parent of the year award. Support this amazing cause, by buying them me."
Online bidding will begin this Monday from an opening bid of $5,000
(€3,600) and continue until September 26, with the winner announced the next day.
The winner will meet Ferrell at the 14th annual Cancer for College golf tournament dinner at Temecula Creek Inn, California on September 28 before filming starts in October.
