Pavarotti makes posthumous chart comeback
Late opera legend Luciano Pavarotti has made a posthumous comeback to the UK singles chart.
The Italian maestro - who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday - entered the charts at number 24 on Sunday for the first time in 15 years, following download sales of his signature track 'Nessun Dorma'.
The song entered the Irish charts, announced last Wednesday, at number 32.
The song has been an anthem for soccer fans since the singer performed it at the 1990 World Cup in Italy.
The track, which was played at his funeral in Modena on Saturday, reached number two in the UK charts in June, 1990.
