Chronicle of the pop art world

Sienna Miller plays Edie Sedgwick, a superstar whose rise and fall is chronicled in Factory Girl (Paramount, €24.99).

Edie had beauty and brains, and when she joins the pop art world of Andy Warhol at The Factory, she finds herself propelled towards stardom.

Just as she reaches her dream she finds a new love and her world falls apart as she is caught between love and Warhol’s nirvana of sex, drugs and rock’n’roll.

Miller perfectly captures Edie’s vulnerability, a girl who, despite her pedigree, all too easily finds herself a tragic victim.

George Hickenlooper’s director’s commentary adds some detail, while there are also other extras, include a look at the real Edie.
