Pavarotti's condition described as 'very serious'

Tenor Luciano Pavarotti, who has pancreatic cancer, was in “very serious” condition after his health deteriorated, the Italian news agency AGI reported tonight.

Without citing sources, AGI said Pavarotti was at home being cared for by doctors from the Modena hospital, where he underwent two weeks of tests and treatment in August.
