Spears single set for November release

Troubled singer Britney Spears will release her long-awaited comeback single in November.

The song Gimme More officially premiered on Thursday night (30Aug07) on New York radio station Z-100's website.

The dance track will arrive in stores on 13 November, a spokesperson for Jive records has confirmed to website People.com.

Spears announces the start of the catchy song by saying: "It's Britney, bitch."

The 25-year-old has not released an album since "B In The Mix: The Remixes" in 2005. Her last LP containing new material was Into The Zone in 2003.
