The Red Hot Chili Peppers were booed by thousands of fans at the Reading Festival on Saturday, after sound problems left the band rocking too quietly.

Around 80,000 fans packed into the venue to watch the American band's headline set, but those stranded at the back couldn't hear their idols, because frontman Anthony Kiedis disconnected a power cable while dancing.
