Doherty back in rehab
Troubled rocker Pete Doherty has checked into rehab once again, following a family summit.
The former Libertines star was summoned to a family meeting, led by his elderly aunt Joan Cassidy, and vowed to change his wild ways.
He checked into Clouds House clinic in Wiltshire, England on Thursday where he will stay for 12 days before he appears in court for sentencing following drug possession charges.
"The family is trying to do what is best for Pete," said Cassidy.
Family friend Barry Parson added: "He really means it this time."
Doherty has tried several spells in rehab and even went to a Thai monastery in 2004 to overcome his drug problems, all to no avail.
