Stiles protects clean-cut image

Julia Stiles has vowed to keep her private life out of the media, because she believes the attention would damage her credibility.

Unlike many other young actresses, Stiles has managed to grow up in the public eye without her social life being splashed across the tabloids.

She says: "I live in New York and have my fair share of fun but I don't want people talking about what I do in my private life.

"It depends on what you want, if you want people to see you falling out of nightclubs or not. The actors I respect are the ones you can believe in because you don't know about their personal life."
