Amy gets Big Brother boot

Big Brother glamour model Amy Alexandra was evicted tonight after just two weeks on the programme.

The 21-year-old former halfway housemate was the favourite to be booted out of the house.

She buried her head in her hands as her name was read out, before snapping: “I’m fine – everyone stop staring at me like my head fell off.”

She looked glum at the prospect of stepping out to meet the waiting crowds at Elstree Studios in north London, where the show is filmed.

The aspiring TV presenter hugged several of the other contestants before rushing off to get ready for meeting the public.

The show’s ninth eviction showdown saw Amy pitted against fellow newcomers Jonty Stern, Kara-Louise Horne and twins Amanda and Sam Marchant, who chose to face the public vote together.
