The Police rake in €77m from first 38 shows

Reformed rockers The Police have lured almost one million fans to the first 38 regular shows on their comeback tour.

The trio has grossed $107.6m (€77m) from their American tour so far - and that doesn't include cash they made from festival appearances.

The group now heads for Europe for concerts in Sweden at the end of August before returning to the US at Halloween for a sold-out show at New York's Madison Square Garden.
