‘10th & Wolf’ a step above the rest

Films based on true stories sometimes have a made-for-TV quality, but ‘10th & Wolf’ (Metrodome, €24.99) is a step above that level.

Tommy Santoro (James Marsden) attempts to flee his criminal family and embark on a new career with the Marines, but is compromised when he is given an offer he can’t refuse — by the FBI.

Caught between a rock and a hard place he plays both sides in an attempt to save his family. Val Kilmer and Dennis Hopper add a bit of grit. The only extra is a behind-the-scenes featurette.
