‘Blades of Glory’ full of laughs
Anyone who thinks skating is a bit of a laugh should enjoy ‘Blades of Glory’ (Paramount, €24.99).
Will Ferrell and Jon Heder play two champion skaters who tie for first place at the Winter Olympics, but are stripped of their medals when they come to blows.
Anxious to make up for losing out, they attempt to put their differences aside and, using a loophole, double up for skating glory with hilarious consequences.
It is packed with an abundance of extras, including deleted scenes, alternate takes, gag reel and lots of amusing featurettes. Very funny.
4/5.
