Casualty spin-off role for popstar's brother

Lily Allen’s little brother Alfie is to star in a new Casualty spin-off.

Three-part series Casualty 1907 takes viewers back 100 years to a hospital in London’s East End.

The BBC One show will use real-life case notes, autopsy records and diaries to bring the era back to life.

Alfie Allen will star alongside Cherie Lunghi.

The 20-year-old is following in the footsteps of his actor dad, Keith.

He has already appeared in the film Elizabeth and later this year will appear on the big screen screen in Atonement with Keira Knightley.

Singer Lily immortalised him in a song, Alfie.

Casualty 1907 will air this autumn.
