Big Brother house braced for eviction night
The Big Brother house is set for more upheaval and tears today as the housemates prepare for another eviction.
In a cruel twist, halfway housemates Amy, Jonty, Liam and Ziggy were given full housemate status but then had to choose four others to replace them.
They chose the three original halfway housemates left in the house â David, Kara-Louise and Shanessa â and Tracey.
All four face the public vote in tonightâs double eviction.
The situation threatened to turn nasty when the four, who had successfully earned ÂŁ300 (âŹ446) for the housemates, learnt they would be allowed back into the house for a few hours.
But they were less than thrilled at realising it would mean meeting up again with Jonty and Amy.
âI wonât be a hypocrite. Iâll speak my mind to Amy,â Shanessa said, before demanding David lend his loyalty.
David promised: âIâll say âIâm shocked you didnât give us a second thought. If youâre hungry for that, best of luck and I hope you choke on it!ââ
He then backtracked, adding: âI just want to see the people I like. Spend the time there wisely, not spend it fighting.â
Later, Shanessa and Kara-Louise asked Jonty: âWhy would you vote for people you live with. We should all stick together.â
âWe only had two minutes to decide,â he protested.
After more than an hour ignoring each other, Amy and Shanessa broke their silence over a slice of cake.
Amy, handing Shanessa the gateau, said: âHere you go babes. Can I speak to you while weâre in here. Cause I donât want any more awkwardness in the group.â
She continued: âI know how you must feel and I donât blame you in the slightest. And like Jonty and I said to you before, when we were sat at that table I thought they were gonna make people choose who came into the main house from the Halfway House.
âAnd I wanted to send Jonty in, and within 20 minutes of being in here I was in tears, and youâre the one person Iâve cried over, so much. Iâve been in the Diary Room telling them how gutted I feel for you, above... I feel gutted for everyone, but for you more than anyone.â
Shanessa, clearly miserable, replied: âI thought that, because we all came into the Halfway House together, that weâd have all stuck together.
âI was expecting you to turn round and say something like âCaroleâ, or one of them. I thought, âthereâs no way sheâll pick meâ.â
The pair then speculated about what Big Brother had up his sleeve next, and hugged before Shanessa returned to the Halfway House.
Last week Charley was the sixth person to be evicted from the Big Brother house with 85.6% of the vote.
