Die Hard star turns to the blues

A crowd of around 7,000 watched US actor Bruce Willis and his blues band perform at the Kennedy Space Centre’s rocket garden in Florida.

Fans cheered last night as Willis sang and played the harmonica, filling the moments between songs by bantering with the crowd. “We love playing for you,” Willis said. “Even when it’s hot.” After the concert was a screening of Armageddon on a giant inflatable screen across the lawn from the stage.

In the movie, Willis leads a group to destroy a giant asteroid headed toward Earth.

Parts of the movie were filmed at Kennedy Space Centre, in Cape Canaveral.

The concert was part of a series called Netflix LIVE! On Location.

The series features classic films and celebrity musical performances.
