Ditto horrified by British breast exposure

The Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto is disgusted by the British tabloids' penchant for topless ladies.

While the lesbian singer admits she finds the UK more accepting of her sexuality and originality, she finds some aspects of the press very sexist.

She say: "It's not perfect, (the UK) can treat women really s**tty; you guys have Page Three here, which I think is pretty weird, but at the same time it's just way more open to weirdoes. And more diverse.

"Antony And The Johnsons wins awards here, and that would never happen in America, they wouldn't even be acknowledged in America, everyone's just so worried about what's the right thing to do."

Several British tabloids, including The Sun, have topless women on page three of their newspaper daily.
