Rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne failed to attend her father Don Arden's funeral - because she was too upset to go.

The music mogul - who launched the careers of music acts the Small Faces, Electric Light Orchestra and Black Sabbath - passed away at a nursing home in Los Angeles on Saturday. He was 81.
