Pop superstar Britney Spears is to set the record straight about her much-publicised personal problems in a revealing interview with OK! Magazine, according to reports.

The troubled star, 25, is said to have personally called the American magazine's main switchboard and asked to speak to the publication's editor-in-chief, Sara Ivens, to negotiate a deal for the interview, according to TMZ.com.
