Tom Cruise is set to be honoured at New York City's Museum of the Moving Image in November.

The Minority Report star, 45, follows in the footsteps of former honourees Sidney Lumet, Robert De Niro, Richard Gere, Al Pacino, Sidney Poitier, Julia Roberts and James Stewart.
