Beyonce to play Aida?

Superstar singer Beyonce Knowles is reportedly being lined up to feature in a film adaptation of Broadway musical Aida.

It is rumoured the Dreamgirls actress is in talks with Walt Disney Studios to play the title role in the Giuseppe Verdi opera.
