Turner pays tribute to poet

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has lavished praise on English 'punk poet' John Cooper Clarke for his rhyming efforts on the band's new single.

Clarke is one of the biggest names in performance poetry and Turner claims his poems have heavily influenced the group's work - so much so the writer was asked to contribute a rhyme for the sleeve of the group's new track Fluorescent Adolescent.
