Actor John Travolta relished playing a woman in upcoming movie Hairspray - because he was groped by his castmates.

The Saturday Night Fever star plays super-sized woman Edna Turnblad in the latest adaptation of the infamous musical - and Travolta admits it was one of his favourite roles because he could behave like "a slut".
