Warhol's assistant previews exhibition
A former assistant to legendary US artist Andy Warhol will preview his first Irish exhibition to a select guest list of art collectors tonight.
Since his apprenticeship with Warhol in 1970s New York, Steve Kaufman’s work now hangs in The White House and the Smithsonian plus over 600 galleries in the US, 16 galleries in Japan and 22 in Europe.
They can also be found in the homes of Al Pacino, Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Taylor.
The preview of Kaufman’s Irish exhibition will take place in the Shelbourne Hotel tonight.
