‘Riviera Cocktail’ an excellent documentary

If you want to know what the famed Cote D’Azur looked like in its heyday in the ’50s, check out ‘Riviera Cocktail’ (Soda Pictures, €21.99).

Heinz Butler’s excellent documentary looks at the work of Irish photographer Edward Quinn, whose hundreds of pictures encompass stars like Grace Kelly, Bardot, Sophia Loren and Cary Grant among others.

Apart from the photographs, which are fascinating, footage of Quinn talking about the stars is also shown.

A lovely glimpse of times past.
