Rod and Penny begin honeymoon

Newly-wed rocker Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster were today enjoying the first day of their Mediterranean honeymoon after tying the knot in a private ceremony on the Italian Riviera, a spokeswoman for the couple said today.

The celebrity pair and their guests celebrated with dinner, dancing and fireworks into the early hours following the sunset ceremony.
