Samuel L. Jackson is in talks to reprise his role as private investigator Mitch Hennessy in a long-awaited sequel to The Long Kiss Goodnight.

Jackson starred alongside Geena Davis in the 1996 action thriller about Samantha, an amnesiac former CIA assassin on a quest to find out who she really is.
