Jailed Hilton 'given chance to make a difference'

Jailed heiress Paris Hilton said acting dumb was “no longer cute” and added that she wanted to make a difference now she has been given “this new chance”, it was reported today.

The 26-year-old was sent to prison last week but, after serving only three full days, was told by Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca on Thursday she could serve the remainder of her sentence at home, wearing a tag.
