Pink breaks Minogue record Down Under

US singer Pink has shattered Australian Kylie Minogue's home record as the female artist to sell the most concert tickets in an arena tour Down Under.

Pink has been in Australia since April and has played 35 gigs to more than 307,000 fans in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Newcastle, Canberra, the Gold Coast and Wollongong.

She says: "I'm kind of sad it's all over now. Australia's always been such a special place for me and now it's even more so after the last couple of months."

Minogue's previous record, set on her Showgirl Homecoming Tour last year, saw her perform 20 concerts to 215,000 fans across Australia.
